About

Stephanie Kelsey has been a state licensed acupuncturist (NCCAOM certified) in downtown Boulder, Colorado, for 10 years. She incorporates a variety of healing modalities in her work including reflexology, reiki, acutonics, moxibustion and Chinese herbs. Stephanie works with people who have no “complaints” or already feel good yet appreciate feeling even better. She also works with people who have athletic injuries, fertility enhancement questions, sleep disturbances, immune system depletion, imbalances that lead to migraines, irritable bowels, menses difficulties, musculo-skeletal pain, and stress related issues.

For the past 6 years Stephanie has also been working with pregnant women, supporting them during their pregnancy (enhancing immunity, alleviating sinus and cold/flu symptoms, giving “happy baby” treatments, treating hip and back strain) as well as helping to turn breech presentations and induce labor at term. Acupuncture can seem to be a panacea or magic bullet at times; the more accurate description is that it serves to reconnect the individual with his or her inherent deep wisdom and homeostatic balance. Our bodies know how to run the show - sometimes they just need a little nudge or support in the direction towards letting go of old patterns and adopting or reacquainting with new patterns. We take cars in for regular oil changes with the intention of preventing damage from occurring. We can think of a regular regime of acupuncture as giving ourselves an oil change - a beneficial, restorative and longevity-enhancing input. Consider taking steps to regularly reduce stress and build life force (”qi”) by getting some form of body work. Acupuncture is a great way to send your body the message that you are thinking preventatively and proactively toward optimizing health goals.
